
This 1-2 years part-time programme consists of 18 modules to be completed. Students will experience a wide variety of teaching and learning approaches, including:
- Interactive seminars
- Self-directed research
- Group-based learning
- Reflection on visual materials
- Coursework presentation
- Online open discussions
This course utilises a range of formative, summative and reflective assessment methods to evaluate learning. The aim of assessment is to develop pre-service teaching skills in critical thinking and reflective practice. Assessment components include formal assessments and informal self-assessments so that students can monitor their own learning.
Students will be able to enhance their educational perspective and increased specialization as educational leaders. Students will study in depth on the topics including instructional methods, curriculum design, assessment strategies, technology learning tools, advanced pedagogical theory, and principles of leadership.
This programme will strengthen students’ skills while enhancing their understanding of the many aspects such as design variety of strategies and experiences to elicit evidence of learner growth and responsive instructional decisions and also analyze research that generates positive social change along with evidence-based practices and academic writing.

Qualification as stated below:
– A bachelor’s degree with the minimum CGPA of 2.50
– Proficiency in English
– For accreditation of prior experience learning (APEL), applicant should be more than 30 years old and posses at least STPM / A-Level / Diploma / equivalent with relevant working experiences
